Brief description:

The high-quality silicone mold, made from food-safe RTV silicone, impresses with its durability and stylish design. The silicone mold consists of a lid and a base for making a hand mirror with a slide-on flap. There is a round placeholder in the base, which forms a recess after the casting process, suitable for our self-adhesive acrylic glass mirrors. After removing the protective film from the adhesive tape, the mirrors can be glued into the manufactured blank. The mounting holes provided (diameter approx. 0.5 cm) in the blank make it easy to attach the two parts using the screws supplied to make the hand mirror fully functional. Each silicone mold is supplied with two self-adhesive mirrors (acrylic glass XT) to ensure quick completion of the product. In addition, one gold and one silver screw are included to allow customization of the hand mirrors. Self-adhesive mirrors and screws are available separately as a supplementary set.

DIPON® Flitzi Premium silicone molds

Application:

Fill the mold with your preferred material, be it resin, concrete or another casting compound. After the material has hardened, the finished product can be easily removed from the mold to obtain a flawless end product. Then remove the protective film from the mirror and the back and attach the mirror. Use the screws to connect the lid and base together. You have a finished folding mirror perfect as a gift or accessory.

Tips & tricks:

Use a release agent, z.B. the natural-based DIPON® EpoxRelease release agent spray.
Pour the casting compound or epoxy resin slowly and evenly into the mold.
Clean the mold thoroughly after each use. Adhesive tape is suitable for removing residues. Do not wash out or touch the inner surface by hand .

General instructions:

Please avoid handling the silicone mold with pointed or sharp objects, as this can lead to permanent and lasting damage!

Important care instructions:

1. Gentle cleaning: To clean the silicone molds, use adhesive tape to carefully remove dust and residue.
2.Storage: Store the molds dust-free and place layers of cardboard between them to avoid pressure marks.
3.Dismantling: Remove the hardened epoxy resin immediately to avoid damage.
4.Regular inspection: Check the molds regularly for signs of wear and replace damaged molds in good time.
